Spanish student, Royal Oak, Michigan
Yesterday I met with a new Spanish student as she wanted to learn our approach and methodology of learning Spanish. She is a project manager at a large consulting firm with very little Spanish training. She stated she is willing to invest her time and resources to become fluent in Spanish. She had tried Rosetta Stone and other methods but was very disappointed. I explained to hear that all of our classes are based on conversational Spanish. Students start speaking Spanish from the first day and continue to do so in every Spanish class. From the Spanish conversations we explain the grammatical Spanish concepts and vocabulary. Each class and each conversation is focused on a particular Spanish concept that we discuss, explain and use in real Spanish conversations. She really liked the approach and is very motivated to start next week, twice per week. I love motivated students willing to learn and expand their horizons by learning to speak Spanish.

Study Spanish in Detroit
Professionals of all backgrounds are learning and studying Spanish: Engineers, heart surgeons, teachers, architects, pediatrician, investment banker, lawyers, accountants, IRS personnel, advertisers, professors, middle & high school students, college students, hockey coach, businessmen and businesswomen, … even a ‘shady’ club manager was once my Spanish student. The common trait in them all: the will and enthusiasm to learn to speak Spanish and their nice personality. That is the main reason why I love teaching. It goes beyond the class time, and the journey to learn Spanish becomes a personal challenge with a very rewarding outcome. The experience to speak, understand, write and read in Spanish starts. At some point, students start thinking in Spanish and when traveling to Spanish-speaking countries they can understand and start talking in Spanish with locals. It is a completely different trip when you can communicate in Spanish with locals that only speak Spanish. I encourage anybody to try it.
